Know Purpose, Mission, Vision, or Passion to Set Quality Goals
In order to set goals, milestones and really benefit from accountability we need to know where we want to go.
Napoleon Hill said “Having a definite major purpose is the first step to living a successful life.”
Whether you already know or have no idea, this series of frameworks will help center down on your purpose.
To start the journey, below is a framework developed by Jim Collins in Good to Great. He called it the Hedgehog. It’s where passion, skills and the market come together. Having and knowing their “Hedgehog” is one of the key characteristics of all great companies.
“Hedgehog Concept” Framework
This framework was expanded on to help individuals figure out their passion. It’s where passion, skills, the market and what the world needs come together.
The below framework, the “Johari window” explains why opening up and being real will benefit you and help others to help you.
This framework helps explain how we gain awareness through the external processing that occurs in Junto if we challenge and push each other on blind spots!
Let’s open to each other on our true values, passions, skills, interests, etc. and we will benefit it unknown ways including discovering our passion, being referred connections, resources and maybe most important being more connected and gaining more awareness of ourselves and each other!
